Pearson Power
by Bill Lawrence

The NPYOA has received several messages from Pearson power boat owners latetly. These photos were sent to us by Andrew Bartlett (e-mail: AndrewB@tiarayachts.com) who found an old P27 that was made by Pearson during the 1960’s. Andrew is trying to find any documentation on the boat as are the other power boat owners who have found our association’s web site. We have gotten back to each of them and offered to add their Pearsons to our online Marina and to publicize this information as we get it. We have only limited information on file regarding the few power boats produced by Pearson, especially the smaller ones that were manufactured during the late 50s and early 60s. Any members with information or photos of Pearson power boats are requested to send them to us so that we can help out our power boat cousins out there. It is not suprising that each message we receive from power boat owners expresses the same pride in and devotion to their vessels that owners of wind-driven Pearsons express in theirs.
