Thanks for the input - I ended up placing the thru hull connector (3/4 in O.D.) next to the manual bilge thru hull that drains into the cockpit. There was a cowling over the manual bilge outlet that was just large enough to accomodate both. I still have a problem with back flow however and I have not been able to find a 1 way check valve that can go inline on a 1 inch O.D. tygon type tubing. All the check valves I have seen are for sump pumps and are much larger - anybody have an idea?
