P30 Bilge outlet on stern

I went to install a new automatic bilge pump and I realized that there is only one exit (into the cockpit) and that is from the manual bilge. I decided to install a thru hull outlet plug for the auto bilge but would like insight from anyone who has done this as to where on the stern to put the outlet.
