the Pearson 530
is elegance without ostentation. She is the consummate performance cruising yacht.

As roomy as the cockpit is, all sail handling controls are within easy reach. Because of its midship location, cockpit visibility is excellent especially for both docking and close quarters maneuvering. Seating is comfortable whether you're passage making, or just socializing dockside. A large sail locker is located to port.

The spacious, sunny, main salon has a minimum of 6' 4" headroom, and is lit by seven ports and two large overhead hatches. The interior is all wood and every bit of it is built by hand, the woods carefully chosen for the beauty of their grain. The handsome dining table is made of teak with laminated trim.

Set as fine a table on board as you would ashore. The curved dinette area seats the whole crew with ease and there's convenient stowage behind the backrest cushions.

There's an ash-trimmed compartment for stowing cutlery and condiments built into the table top.

Beside the liquor is the wet bar.an impressive, albeit optional, luxury.

A chart table that's actually chart sized. Surrounded by space enough for any instrumentation you might need. The swivel chair, you'll be happy to know, is comfortable at all angles of heel, stowing neatly away when not in use.

The wet locker is located at the base of the companionway, where it should be, and drains into a sump.

You'll want to whip up a souffle Grand Marnier in the galley. There's everything you need to cook in style. Double stainless steel sink; optional refrigerator/freezer; propane stove with oven; a sliding top over the stove for extra counter space; great storage. And beautiful.

The sumptuous aft stateroom with the teak ceiling, queen size bed, cedar-lined hanging locker, full length mirror and smoothly curved bureaus belongs to the owner, naturally.

The owner's head, leading off the aft stateroom, has a stand-up stall shower, with soak tub seat. The built-in, mirrored vanity and ample locker space are intended to compete successfully with home.

The electrical panel may look complicated, but it makes trouble shooting easy, and accessible.

Even the most fastidious member of the crew will appreciate the forward head, with its stand-up shower, hot and cold running water and stainless steel sink

The commodious guest stateroom is forward, on the starboard side. It includes upper and lower berths, mirrored bureau, hanging locker and dressing seat built in.

The V-berth makes up into a massive double berth with the addition of its insert. It is favored quarters for family or crew, since it's easily closed off. The forward hatch makes it convenient for getting gear on and off deck fast.

The closer you look the more you will find each deck fitting on the 530 to be a marvel of function and simple beauty.
