Deck & Cockpit: One piece reinforced molded fiberglass laminate with balsa core for stiffness and insulation. Standard deck color: white (two-tone deck optional) non-skid on all walking surfaces. Self-bailing cockpit. Cockpit sail lockers (P&S) (Gear locker on port side with optional quarterberth). Cockpit seats and seatbacks angled for seating comfort. Fiberglass sliding hatch. Teak trimmed storage alcoves under. Teak handrails on cabin top. Anchor locker in foredeck with positive latching cover. Deck unit mechanically fastened and glassed to hull for complete watertight integrity. Deck scuppers (P&S) anodized aluminum slotted toe rail is bolted through hull/deck joint. Machinery: 11 HP 2 cylinder Universal diesel engine with 2:1 reduction gear and V-drive. 35 amp. alternator. 1" bronze shaft. Bronze strut and gland stuffing box. Stainless steel water box muffler with steamhose exhaust line. Individual clutch and throttle controls mounted on cockpit side. Instruments in cockpit include oil pressure, water temperature, ammeter, and fuel gauge. Waterproof preheat and starter buttons. 22-gallon aluminum fuel tank with deck plate fill overboard vent. Fuel filter and flexible fuel line with fireproof sleeve. Fixed two blades, 14x9 RH, bronze propeller. Tanks & Plumbing: Two plastic water tanks located under port and starboard berths. Total capacity 38 gallons. Separate deck fills, vents, and supply lines. Fresh water plumbing is nylon tubing. Foot pumps in galley and head (pressure hot and cold water optional). Hand pump at galley sink to drain icebox. Toilet system fitted with holding tank located in V-berth area. With deck pump out plate (other toilet systems optional). Stranded copper wiring with impervious covering, color coded for circuit identification according to BIA standards. Bow cleats, bow chocks and stern cleats (P&S) four small opening ports in forward area. Two large fixed ports aft. Transparent aluminum framed deck hatch over forward cabin. Two # 40 Lewmar 2 speed genoa sheet winches. #8 Lewmar Jib halyard winch mounted on deck. Stainless steel bow pulpit stern rail and lifeline stanchions. Vinyl covered stainless steel lifelines. Mainsheet traveller with control lines recessed in bridge deck. Spars: Mast and boom 6061-T6 alloy protective coated. Internal track sections. Mast is stepped on keel. Tapered airfoil spreaders. Rigging: Standing-stainless steel 1x19 wire. Stainless steel turnbuckles on all shrouds, headstay and backway. Toggles on upper and lower shrouds and masthead toggle of Darcon.* Interior: Sleeping accommodations for five (six with optional quarterberth). V-berth in forward cabin with bin stowage under. Rope locker in forepeak. Shelves over V-berth (P&S) V-berth insert lowers in seat position. Bi-folding door into forward cabin. Head to port, with hanging locker and locker stowage outboard. Vanity area with sink to starboard with locker stowage outboard. Drawer under vanity counter. Double berth to port in main cabin. Single berth to starboard. Locker stowage behind hinged backrests (P& S) shelves over berths P&S. Chart table to port with chart stowage under. Stowage locker outboard, drawer and locker stowage under. Chart table seat has hinged backrest with liquor storage area under. Bin stowage under seat. Galley to starboard with deep stainless steel sink. Trash bin outboard of sink with sliding door locker over. Cutlery bin and locker under sink. Two burner, recessed countertop stove (gimballed stove with oven optional) drawer and locker stowage under. Top loading icebox at aft end of galley. Engine compartment under companionway with shelf over. Interior finish is teak plywood with solid teak trim. Counterparts are white formica. Cabin sole is molded fiberglass with bilge access. (Teak and holly sole or carpeting optional) Safety Equipment: Bonding system incorporates common grounding of chain plates, seacocks, engine and fuel tank. Seacocks on all thru-hulls below waterline. Deck and cockpit have molded non-skid areas. Self-bailing cockpit, natural and forced draft ventilation of engine compartment in accordance with U.S.C.G. standards. Manual bilge pump.
